The Dhara Dhevi Chiang Mai, Chiang Mai

I had a wonderful time at this hotel with its beautiful antique style and charming decorations. The staff were nice, but the language barrier made some interactions a bit challenging. While the food was enjoyable, I found the Thai restaurant to be overrated. The ambiance overall was pleasant, but the presence of lizards in our villa was a bit startling. It's a lovely experience with room for improvement.

The Dhara Dhevi is a stunning property with beautiful traditional architecture and some really nice activities available. The staff are attentive and provide a personal touch, which I really appreciated. However, there are noticeable maintenance issues throughout the resort, including problems in the rooms and common areas that could use some urgent attention. The location is a bit isolated, but it's all part of the charm.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. While the surroundings and architecture were stunning, my stay was marred by some serious cleanliness issues and poor service, particularly after the initial problems with my room. The staff, although some were helpful, didn't meet my expectations for a hotel of this caliber, especially given the price I paid.
